Description
E-I Lamination refers to a type of electrical steel used in the construction of transformers, electric motors, and other electromagnetic devices. The name comes from the shape of the lamination sheets: E-shaped and I-shaped laminations. These are stacked together to form the core of the machine. The E-lamination has a central leg with two outer arms, while the I-lamination consists of a single vertical leg.
